6520 – Mountain meadows

Description:
The mountain meadows are the most widespread types of meadows, present throughout the Carpathians (at over 600 m altitude), where they occupy the largest areas and are characterized by a high level of biodiversity, mainly with numerous protected plant species and invertebrates.

Characteristic species:
Trisetum flavescens, Cerastium holosteoides, Festuca rubra, Agrosts capillaris, Lotus corniculatus, Anthoxanthium odoratum şi Luzula campestris
