DESCRIPTION OF THE HABITATS TARGETED BY THE PROJECT:

6520 – Mountain meadows – they are the most representative types of meadows in the Carpathians and are characterized by a high biodiversity, mainly with numerous law protected plant species and invertebrates.

9110 – Luzulo-Fagetum beech forests – they are pure beech forests or mixed with conifers and can be found on the altitude floor of 500-1400m. The species from the grassy layer are Luzula luzuloides, Polytrichum juniperinum, Deschampsia flexuosa, Calamagrostis villosa, Vaccinium myrtillus and Hieracium rotundatum.

9130 – Asperulo-Fagetum forests
– they are forests of Fagus sylvatica, Fagus sylvatica – Abies alba or Fagus sylvatica – Abies alba – Picea abies that develop on neutral soils with mull type humus, an abundant grassy layer and more developed than the one of the habitat 9110, richer in species, also characterized by the occurrence of the species Anemone nemorosa, Lamium galeobdolon, Galium odoratum, Melica uniflora and Dentaria spp.
