Due both to the relatively large area compared to other protected natural areas nearby and to the diversity of habitats and species, the site has the potential to be frequented by all types of tourists: transit tourists, circuit tourists, sports tourists and hiking amateurs, cultural tourists, wine tourists (important vineyards are located in the area) and ecotourists.
This whole natural setting with its historic cultural background invites any tourist to have an appropriate attitude and to realize the importance of protecting the natural environment, in order to help conserve the biodiversity of the natural area. Moreover, the visiting infrastructure, suggested by the management plan to be developed, will contribute to a controlled and efficient management of the flow of tourists arriving in the site Natura 2000 ROSCI0018 Căldările Zăbalei. In addition, information and awareness activities will influence both the local community and the existing tourists at a certain point.
